More random bits of information about me…
I wear a bite guard at night because I grind my teeth.
I spent years, and years, and years, and years enduring orthodontia, back when it most certainly wasn’t “cool.” I wore head gear in junior high! I made the orthodontist remove my permanent lower retainer right before my wedding!
I used to be able to slalom water ski.
I won the Girl Scout cookie award for selling the most cookies.
I once got knocked out when a horse slipped and fell over backwards with me. I had an ambulance ride to the hospital. I was about 11.
My brother is a pilot for American Airlines.
I weigh more than anyone else in my family of origin… parents, brother and sister!
I am a migraine sufferer, as my father used to be (before he retired and relaxed.)
I am a pretty good roller skater… the old-fashioned, four wheel kind.

I have a scar on my chin from jumping into a swimming pool backwards and hitting my chin on the side.
I have “Meralgia Paresthetica” which is an irritation of the lateral cutaneous femoral nerve. This condition makes my legs tingle if I stand for too long, and deadens the sensory nerves in my quadriceps.
Since my son’s wedding, I have maintained a set of acrylic nails and I love it!
I can play the piano, although the only things I know from memory are really, really, really old tunes like “Love is Blue”!
I am very different from my siblings and often feel like an only child.
I love green beans but they don’t love me. Same for sauerkraut…
I used to clip our Cocker Spaniel in the treatment room at the vet school, using the school’s clippers. The only thing that got a vet student more grief than owning a Cocker Spaniel was owning an Irish Setter…
I won the township 4-H dog obedience competition with a neighbor’s dog (because my dog Cindy was too old) but I couldn’t go on to the County fair because I didn’t own the dog.
