We’re on the road again … tomorrow morning, bright and early, we head to Providence, Rhode Island for the
ATTACh conference. I have spent all day packing for me and two lovely young girls, as well as amassing all the ATN booth stuff and newsletters and beanie babies and booklets for sale, and … and … and … As I was gathering clothes for the three of us, Dora and I made an “emergency” run to Target for some last minute fancy duds. Beth did such a great job of working the exhibit hall at the NACAC conference … I’m certainly not above dressing them up to get the ball rolling!!! We don’t dress up much around here, so we have to grab the opportunities when we can. Besides, you can’t mess with success … Beth is such a testimonial to how it is supposed to go.
The girls missed some school when we were in Indiana, and they are missing another two days this week. Beth’s teachers have labeled her as a “hard worker” and they are willing to do what is necessary to get her caught up when she returns. Dora is not setting the world on fire academically, but there is plenty of time for that. She has a few other things going on in her life right now … I’m looking forward to having both girls with me for these few days. My only “assignment” at the conference is to man the booth, so there shouldn’t be any issues with having two well-dressed sidekicks in tow.

It may take me a day or two to get a blog posted, but I will send the next few installments from the conference. I am excited to see the lovely ladies of ATN, as well as friends from ATTACh and all the awesome folks that stop by our booth. One of my favorite folks to see at the conference is Pat Johnston, so we can continue our lively dialog in person!
