I apologize that you haven’t heard much from me this past four days, but as I suspected would happen, the conference required 200% of my attention. I couldn’t walk across the lobby of the hotel without being stopped by a dozen people. We listened and learned all day and then networked and socialized at night. I fell into bed and got up and did it all again the next day.
I am beyond beat today, but I have so very much to tell you. I had lengthy conversations with
Foster Cline, and I will share some of that in future blogs. I met two adult adoptees,
Janet Keall and
Ken Huey, and I have lots and lots to tell you about them. I had a wonderful visit with
Nancy Ashe, and she and Stephanie discussed the Greek language … but it was all Greek to me! (Oh, that was really bad …) We had extensive coverage of biomedical interventions and that was very well received.
Katherine Leslie gave a fabulous closing keynote and participated in other workshops as well. There is a ton of information I can share from her workshops.
Beth Powell blew everyone away, as did the folks at
Nehemiah’s Ranch.
Deborah Hage and
Larry Smith did wonderful workshops and participated in a therapist panel that had five distinct but compatible opinions. Also on that panel was
Ken Frohock, who presented in other sessions with his therapy partner,
Peg Kirby. I moderated that therapist panel and it was fabulous. (I only read the questions; I didn’t have to do anything else!) It was really neat to hear everyone’s response to the same question.

There are at least a half dozen workshops I haven’t mentioned, but I only have a few grey cells firing this morning … Let me sort out my thoughts and I will start working my way through the teasers I just provided and give you more information.
