I hope you had a wonderful trip.

I wanted to pass on info about a great book I'm reading. I'm about half way through it. Its Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury.

She has six children, three of them adopted as older children from Haiti. This story covers three of my fav topics: God, Foster Kids and Football.

Her website is www.karenkingsbury.com and it has a cool forward by Alex Smith and a link to his website about helping older foster kids.
I hope that you have a chance to really relax and take time out for you, Nancy. You really deserve a weekend to do what you want to do. Enjoy your time with your daughter and hope you have a safe trip.
Hmmm.... 21 years ago, I was a newlywed, with no kids on the horizon. I was still in my Cowsills phase, I guess, and had a head of hair , shoulder length and longer.... shining, but not flaxen.

Happy Birthday Nancy, to your beautiful "baby" girl! Did you bring enough tissue to celebrate this milestone with her?
